Moving can be an exciting yet stressful time, especially if you haven’t managed to secure your next home. Between work, hobbies and maintaining a social life, we’re all so busy these days. So we wanted to put together a short blurb on how you can fast track your next move. As a tenant, you may be aware that there is currently fierce competition for good quality properties. In fact, we have tenants calling us on a regular basis sharing their experience and asking us what they can do to get ahead of the game. Our first suggestion would be to make contact with a local leasing agent. The proactive agents are the ones who can match tenants to properties before they are even listed to online portals. The application process is crucial, you will need to ensure that you have read the tenancy application thoroughly as these differ from agency to agency, this should be filled this out to the very best of your ability as well as providing the correct amount of ID. When you are competing against multiple tenants, if the agent is able to complete your application in a short amount of time then you are in with the best possible shot.
Of course, the easiest way to avoid moving – is to accept an offered renewal notice – only of course if your property still meets yours and your family’s requirements. If the property you are residing in however does not meet your needs any longer, I am more than happy to have a chat about renting one of our other beautiful properties.
